Nokia 7380

Yes that is a cell phone in the pictures above. It is not a MP3 player. The Nokia 7380 is an ultra slim unique design. This is one of the most radical cell phones I have seen. It has leather accents and shimmering surfaces which is sure to make it stand out from its peers.

It has all the features you would except from a new cell phone including voice dialing, voice commands, voice recording, hands free speaker, last number redial, automatic redial, vibrate mode, keypad lock, and more. You can create, send, receive, and edit videos and pictures with the Nokia 7380. Text messaging is supported, no big surprise there! Nokia Xpress is also supported. Nokia Xpress is an audio messaging system which allows you to record a message and then send it to Xpress compatible devices. It’s text messaging using your own voice. Very cool!!

The Nokia 7380 has a built-in 2-megapixel camera, 4X digital zoom, automatic flash, video recorder, video streaming and up to 52MB of internal memory for holding all those pictures and videos. Wow. It has a 104 x 208 pixel resolution screen with up to 65,536 colors. You can download all your favorite themes and wallpapers. The 7380 is Bluetooth ready and has a WAP 2.0 HTML mobile Internet browser for viewing websites.

There is even a built in FM radio which works with the optional stereo headset. This little cell phone has everything you could ask for.

No word on pricing yet since Nokia has not officially released the 7380. I’m guessing it is going to be in the $300-$400 range when it is released

4GB & 8GB Unlocked Apple iPhone

I know you have heard about the Apple iPhone. It has definitely lived up to all the hype. It has all the great features of a high end cell phone combined with a high end video / audio iPod. What else could you want? The biggest disappointment for me was when I heard it would only work on one major cellular carrier. That lucky carrier was AT&T (formally Cingular). Being a Verizon customer that meant I was out of luck and there was nothing I could do about it unless I wanted to cancel my current Verizon contract and switch to AT&T. Well, we all know how much of a pain and expensive it is to cancel contracts and switch to another carrier, so that was not an option for me. But now that the iPhone has been unlocked it can be used on just about any cellular carrier. In fact the latest unlocked Apple iPhones will work on all GSM service providers all over the world. Including T-Mobile, Fido, SunCom and all other GSM service providers. The best part of all is you do not have to do anything to unlock the phone. No soldering, software downloads, dissembling is required. The iPhone comes unlocked and ready to use.

You can pick from the 4GB Apple iPhone or the 8GB Apple iPhone. Prices start around $399 with a new activation or order just the unlocked phone and use it with your current GSM service plan. Watch YouTube, listen to MP3s, take pictures and so much more with the Apple iPhone. Get the 8GB version right here...

Google Gphone in Two Weeks' Time?

While India might well figure last on Apple Computer's priority list vis-a-vis the iPhone, not so Google...

If reports are indeed true, the search giant is just two weeks away from the worldwide launch of its much hyped Google Phone or Gphone.
And, it is believed to be in talks with Indian service providers, the likes of Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Essar, and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) for an exclusive launch on any one of their respective networks.

Sources close to the project reportedly revealed that a simultaneous launch across the US and Europe is expected, and that announcements would be sent to media firms in India and other parts of the world.

The only obstacle in Google's path is US regulatory approval, which is also expected soon, the sources added. Towards this global telephonic foray, the search major will take a hit to it's bottom line to the tune of an estimated $7-8 billion.

And while not confirmed, Google is also believed to be in talks with Indian providers for offering data and content and platforms including Instant Messaging (IM) and search functions.

Responding to these reports, a Google spokesperson said that they don't comment on market rumor or speculation. But that the company is committed to providing users with access to the world's information, and that mobile becomes more important to these efforts every day.

The spokesperson said they are collaborating with partners worldwide to bring Google search and applications to mobile users everywhere. However that as of now, they have nothing to announce...

Specification:

According to Nokia, the N99 comes equipped with 7.2-MP digital camera, 16GB of internal harddrive, 3.2″ TFT LCD Screen with 1.6millions color, innovative 9 ways joystick for better browsing experience, WLAN and GPS ready. Besides that, the Nokia N99 also supports DIVx movies and MP3/ACC/WMA music playback.

There isn’t much word about price and when the Nokia N99 will be sold.

NOKIA N98:

Baap ( Father ) of Apple iPhone.

Shot at 2007-07-23

Nokia N98 has been sighted on the net and will be released really soon according to Nokia France specification sheet. Despite it’s earlier claims that iPhone is no threat to lucrative NSeries smartphone multimedia computer business, Nokia was really frightened by it and started scrambling for an answer literary the next day. Result of that is new Nokia N98 who really looks like Apple iPhone, but when you look at specifications there is huge advantage over iPhone. So we might look at new mobile phone war in which only consumer can benefit by better products and new technologie

Specification:

* 7.2 mega pixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens
* Optical zoom x5 and digital zoom x20
* 3.5 inch VGA 16 million color touch screen
* GPS
* Symbian S70 3rd edition (now that would be something)
* Graphics accelerator
* Bluetooth/WIFI b+g+n/HSDPA

Nokia 7900:

Shot at 2007-07-23

Specification:

what impresses you the most would be the interesting criss-cross design in front and at the back. Measuring a mere 14mm thick, the 7900 will be equipped with Bluetooth and 3G connectivity, a 2 megapixel camera with flash, an integrated FM radio, email support, integrated audio and video players, 1GB of internal memory, and a very capable display that shows up to 16 million colors in 320 x 240 resolution, all packed into a body that measures 106mm x 44mm x 14mm. I personally think this is a hoax, as the design cues definitely do not lean toward the business-class image that is associated with such a handset, while 14mm sounds too slim for a Nokia.

Nokia E-90

Shot at 2007-07-23

Shot at 2007-07-23

Specification:

the 800 by 352 pixel by 24-bit colour main screen (dwell on those specs for a second - two and a half times wider than that on the E61 and almost double the height)
the full QVGA external screen (no more cut-down external interface)
the full integration of external and internal displays (so that you can switch seamlessly between the same application in open or closed mode!)
fast processor and around 80MB of RAM (yep, that’s RAM, not storage memory) free after booting
a significantly better keyboard
a more flexible hinge (stronger and allowing flat-use, as in the 9300)
an integrated GPS receiver (a la the N95, and a great match for the new Nokia Maps software/service)
a standard miniUSB port (no more Pop-port, thankfully) and stereo headphone socket
a far superior (3 megapixel, auto-focus, with flash) stills camera
a pretty decent (VGA resolution, 25 frames per second) video camera

iphone Dock

iPhone Dock

The iPhone Dock offers easy access to a USB port for syncing or charging, and audio line out for connecting to powered speakers. Also includes an Apple USB Power Adapter and an Apple Dock Connector to USB Cable.
